1. Parking – Roofing crew will need access to parking space, usually the driveway. If you have a shared driveway, Let your neighbor know about when you plan on having your project done and the estimated timeline.
2. Outdoor Furniture- Have your potted plants, statues, grills moved away from the house to where roof debris will not damage it.
3. Indoor- Remove any items that are loose on the walls or shelves such as , pictures, figurines, plates etc. The work being done above can cause walls and shelves to shake and make vibrations.
4. Loud noise- Constant hammering and roofing machine equipments will be heard throughout job cycle.
5. Precaution-Keep children and pets away from job site at all times.
6. Start date and time frame – Have the Roofing company inform you when and what time you project will begin so you can schedule accordingly.
7. Potential delays- Although roofing companies try to stick to there schedule unexpected delays such as inclement weather, material delay or suprises on the previous job can occur.
8. Nails- A roof tear off consist of ALOT of nails coming off. The roofing crew should carry and utilize there own magnetic roller to pick up nails, beware of strays contact roofing company to pick them up.
9. Power breaker- ensure your electrical outlets are doing properly.
10. Satellite dish- Sometimes the signal gets disconnected and cable company will have to calibrate it.
